PERHITUNGAN ECONOMIC ORDER QUANTITY SUKU CADANG PADA UNIT PENJUALAN UD SENTRAL AC MOBIL SAMARINDA

Abstract

Inventory is a vital asset in supporting the continuity of business operations, especially in the automotive spare parts trading sector. This community service aims to calculate spare parts inventory control at UD Sentral AC Mobil in Samarinda for the 2025 period. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study approach, through interviews, documentation, and direct observation. Primary information was obtained from the business owner, while supporting data came from sales and inventory reports. The analysis was carried out through data reduction, EOQ calculations, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The calculation results show that the application of the EOQ method can optimize the number of orders and reduce inventory costs. Several components, such as Oil Filters, Air Filters, and Diesel Filters, show optimal quantities in the range of 250–300 units per order. Meanwhile, Batteries and Compressors have the highest EOQ, indicating the need for a more intensive management strategy. Thus, inventory control calculations at UD Sentral AC Mobil have proven effective in increasing operational efficiency and minimizing the risk of excess or shortage of stock.
