This study uses a quantitative research type method. The population of this study is the Social Services Budget of East Kalimantan Province. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, limited to the 2021 Budget for the Social Service of the Province of East Kalimantan. Data analysis includes the effectiveness and efficiency of the budget. The results of the research on the level of effectiveness of implementing the direct budget for achieving physical targets at the East Kalimantan Province Social Service in 2021 with a value of 88.98% means it is quite effective.Likewise, the level of effectiveness in implementing the direct budget for achieving the physical target at the East Kalimantan Provincial Social Service in 2021 with a value of 88.64% means it is quite effective. The level of efficiency in implementing the indirect budget for achieving the physical target at the East Kalimantan Provincial Social Service in 2021 with a value of 68.17% means efficient. Meanwhile, the level of efficiency in implementing the direct budget for achieving physical targets at the East Kalimantan Provincial Social Service in 2021 with a value of 31.41% means very efficient.
